Stop overpaying for your prescriptions.

Tell us what you take, or what you are thinking about taking. SlashedRx searches for the cheapest legitimate way to get that exact medication — then tells you plainly which one costs least, and shows you every source it checked.

Medications you can search
Any prescription drug
Checked at search time
Every source, live

Type any prescription medication. We identify it against the National Library of Medicine’s drug vocabulary, then read the cash prices and manufacturer programs for it while you wait — no hand-maintained list of what we happen to cover. Already taking it? Tell us what you pay and we work out the difference. Not taking it yet? Leave that blank and we just show you the price.

Your medication searches are private. We never sell your search history and never send medication names to advertising networks. How we handle your data.

Check your price

Free, and you do not need an account.

It is printed on your prescription label, next to the medication name. Type whatever yours says.
Pills, pens or inhalers in one fill — whatever your quantity actually is.
Leave blank if you don’t take this yet — we’ll just show you what it costs.

No account needed. Takes about ten seconds.

How the search works

Four genuinely different ways to pay less.

These are not four versions of the same coupon. They are separate routes with separate rules, and the cheapest one is different for almost every prescription.

  1. 01

    Cash prices

Some pharmacies sell the same medication for a fraction of the counter price when you pay cash instead of running it through insurance.

  2. 02

    Manufacturer savings

The company that makes your drug often runs a copay card or savings program. Eligibility rules apply, and we always tell you what they are.

  3. 03

    Patient assistance

Foundations and manufacturer programs supply medication at low or no cost to people who meet income requirements.

  4. 04

    FDA-approved generics

When the FDA lists a generic as equivalent to the exact drug you were prescribed, we show it. We never invent an alternative ourselves.

See exactly what we check, and what we don't

This is not another coupon site.

A coupon site shows you the same prescription at a handful of nearby pharmacies. SlashedRx asks the bigger question: what is the cheapest legitimate way for you to get this medication at all?

We show our work

Every price says where it came from, when it was last checked, and what kind of option it is. Estimates are labelled as estimates, and a program price is never dressed up as a shelf price.

We will tell you when we find nothing

If you are already close to the best price we can find, we say so and we do not charge you to hear it. A saving under $5 a month is not called a saving here.

We never guess about your medicine

SlashedRx does not diagnose, does not suggest a dose, and never invents an alternative drug. Generic information appears only when the FDA lists it for the exact medication you were prescribed.

GLP-1 medications

The prescriptions with the widest price gap.

Wegovy, Zepbound, Ozempic and Mounjaro are among the most expensive medications people fill on an ongoing basis, and they are also among the ones with the most savings routes — which is exactly why the price you are quoted so often is not the price you have to pay.

Manufacturer savings programs

Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly both run savings programs for their own products. The rules are strict and depend on your insurance — we show you the actual eligibility language, not a promise.

Direct-from-manufacturer purchase

Several of these are now sold directly by the manufacturer at a set cash price. That is often a different number entirely from the pharmacy counter.

Cash-price pharmacies

Where a legitimate cash price exists for the exact strength and quantity on your prescription, we quote it and name the source.

One thing we will never do: suggest you switch between these medications, or change a dose, to save money. SlashedRx prices the medication you were prescribed. Anything else is a conversation for you and your prescriber.

Membership

Keep your prescriptions on watch.

Prices, programs and eligibility rules change without telling you. A membership keeps your medications saved in one place with the full detail for every option, so re-checking them is one click instead of starting over.

  • Full instructions for every option we find
  • Save your medications and re-check them any time
  • Re-check any saved medication in one click, as often as you like
  • Cancel from your account in two clicks

Searching is always free.

Medications people check most

Each of these has a page explaining what it is and where the savings usually come from.

These have a written page because they are the ones people ask about most — but you are not limited to them. Search any prescription medication. Browse the guides.

SlashedRx provides medication pricing and savings information and does not provide medical advice. Never change or stop a prescribed medication without speaking with your healthcare professional.
